Two Established Sealing Routes
Supreme Propeller Shaft Seals
The Supreme range is designed for stern tubes, propeller shafts, and thruster systems on marine vessels. The Supreme Standard can be used with fixed-pitch and controllable-pitch propeller arrangements, is available for new-build and retrofit projects, and can be configured in modular or split forms.
Relevant projects may include commercial vessels, inland vessels, naval and government craft, yachts, ferries, cruise ships, and dredging vessels. Final configuration depends on shaft arrangement, lubricant, water conditions, class requirements, available installation space, and service strategy.
Liquidyne Pump Shaft Seals
Liquidyne is a water-lubricated pump shaft sealing system developed for demanding rotating equipment. Lagersmit positions it as an alternative to gland packing and conventional mechanical seals, particularly where abrasion, vibration, shaft movement, or difficult operating conditions affect seal life.
The product family includes configurations for heavy-duty dredging and slurry pumps, relatively clean media, and polluted or aggressive media. Its condition-monitoring approach can help maintenance teams use drain-flow behavior to plan seal service instead of relying only on fixed replacement intervals.
Application Areas
- Propeller shafts and stern tubes
- Bow and tunnel thrusters
- Dredging and slurry pumps
- Industrial water and process pumps
- Equipment exposed to abrasive or contaminated media
- Submerged rotating equipment and water-infrastructure projects, subject to engineering review
Project Support in China
Application and Retrofit Review
Coordinate shaft data, equipment drawings, operating conditions, installation constraints, and the existing sealing arrangement for technical review.
New Equipment Coordination
Connect pump, vessel, and equipment manufacturers with the relevant sealing requirements early enough to avoid late interface changes.
Replacement Parts and Service Planning
Identify the installed seal, equipment serial information, liner or bush condition, consumable requirements, and maintenance window before requesting parts or field support.
International Commercial Communication
CHAN ISSUE TRADE can help organize inquiry information, coordinate China-side communication, and keep technical and commercial questions connected through quotation and delivery planning.
